About Us

Yamisha Fuller is the owner of Just Like Home Early Learning Academy. She was born in Norfolk, VA, and graduated from Eckerd College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education/Business Management. Before she discovered her passion for working with children, her background was in banking and real estate.

Yamisha later decided to help and volunteer to work in her big sister’s daycare center when she realized her love and passion for teaching. Servicing families and their children became her first priority to develop young minds to become great leaders.

Eventually, Yamisha started Just Like Home Early Learning Academy in 2012, intending to meet the growing community’s needs and fulfill our goal of educating children. With Yamisha’s strong desire to serve children, our childcare institution continued flourishing, so we expanded the business. Now, we continue providing exceptional service with the help of other highly trained, caring, devoted, and qualified childhood educators who enjoy teaching children.

Yamisha and her husband Hubert have five beautiful children: Passion, Ariel, Laynia, Solomon, and Kimara. She has spent several years as a parent in early childhood education, with over 12 years of experience, and she understands early childhood education’s importance on a child’s future success in school and life.

Now, through our childhood education business, we are excited to offer a high-quality, individualized, play-based preschool program in the Wimauma community. We are looking forward to positively impacting the preschool-age children enrolled in Just Like Home Early Learning Academy.
